Background

Mastercard's digital wallet Masterpass makes it easy to make digital purchases on any device - desktop, tablet and mobile. Masterpass, through their agency McCann, contacted us and wanted us to create a solution for how to incentivize the account creation process for the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish market.

Solution

We created a web application in which new users can create a Masterpass account. When the user finalizes the account registration process, they can use their newly created Masterpass wallet to buy a digital cinema ticket with a simple click and, as a reward, get another ticket for free. The campaign was communicated in a wide range of social media and generated thousands of new Masterpass accounts for Mastercard.
